Kicking off proceedings here at the breed's premier show and sale in Stirling was the pairs competition for the best pair of bulls from an exhibitor which Alasdair Houston took top spot with Gretnahouse Jonty N460 (lot 276 and Gretnahouse Samson N645 (lot 283).

28 Jan 2015 Angus heifer wins Dovecote Park native carcass championship

Dovecote Park held their annual carcass show last week and winning the Aberdeen-Angus section and overall native championship was Neil Brocklehurst with his home bred Aberdeen-Angus heifer, which was also awarded champion home bred carcase. This one was by Little Longstone Phantom D003, a Skaill Dividend Y862 son out of a Rawburn Duke daughter.
