Aberdeen-Angus bulls have met a steady trade today in Stirling, but it was the pre-sale champion who took the headlines from the show and sale ring in the form of Tonley Pato N938 from father and son team of Neil and Mark Wattie, Tonley, Aberdeenshire. The Aberdeenshire-based Tonley herd of father and son team Neil and Mark Wattie have secured the overall championship in Stirling today, having come through as junior champion under judge Ian Mathers. For the third year running Colin Hutchings has won the coveted Warren Trophy, awarded by the Society to a show exhibitor winning the most points for home bred stock at shows with Aberdeen-Angus classes held throughout England and Wales.Colin has had many a successful show season, exhibiting at various shows in the South West of England, as well as supporting the larger classes at National level.Read more
