Aberdeen-Angus steak sandwich

Everyone loves a steak sandwich. Why not take your everyday steak standard to the next level with some premium quality Aberdeen-Angus steak?

What you’ll need

1.5lb of Aberdeen-Angus steak (rib-eye or sirloin)

Ciabatta bread roll

Garlic-infused soft cheese

Half a red onion

Some green and red pepper

A handful of mushrooms

Cheese of your choice

 

How it’s done

Slice your ciabatta bread roll length ways and lightly toast. Once the bread is cool, spread one side with a generous helping of garlic-infused soft cheese.

Cook your steak to your preference, allow it to rest, then slice it up and place it on top of the soft cheese. Slice the green pepper, red onion and mushrooms, and lightly fry them in olive oil to soften them as you please.

Generously top your steak with the onion, peppers and mushrooms, then crumble your favourite cheese on top – cheddar, feta, mozzarella, whatever you prefer, and enjoy this simple but delicious sandwich!
