Championship string tops at 12,000gns for reserve intermediate champion

The first of the championship string, the junior and the overall champion, Cairnton Knight J255 (lot 68), from Kenneth Howie, has gone at7000gns. Born April 2009, this one is by Harestone Diplomat F659 and is out of Wedderlie Karisma A322. He has a SRI of +35 and a TI of +28 and sold to Messrs Slater, Orphir, Orkney.

By Blelack Blackstock A227, he is out of a HF Richochet 99F daughter and sold to Messrs Watton and Sons, Otterburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

The senior champion Wrae Proud Illusionist H134 (lot 8), has gone at 6200gns from Alexander Norrie. By Carlhurlie Great Start C353, he sold to Liam Muir, Orkney. The reserve senior champion Scholland Duplicator J404 (lot 18), by Rawburn Echester D297, has topped the string so far selling for 10,000gns to Mr Wilson, Dumfriesshire.

The intermediate champion Idvies Proud Paul J400 (lot 27) from Alistair Fraser, has gone at 5800gns. By Rawburn Rommel, this one is out of a Jeremy Eric of Bridgewater daughter and sold to Wilson Farms, Almondbank, Perth.

Another from the Massie family and sale leader for today, the reserve intermediate champion Blelack Jubilee Eric J133 (lot 51) is the first of the bulls forward by the great Netherallan Peter Pershore E052, has gone at 12,000gns to Jan Boomaars, Woldingham, Surrey. this one has a SRI of +48 and a TI of +34 and has already been shown this year taking the male championship at Turriff Show.
