Due to calve in May to Rawburn Rainy, this one carries a TSI of +55 and SRI of +68 and sold to F McDaid, Luton, Bedfordshire. 

The first to make the headlines in the Balmachie draft offering from Messrs John Lascelles just now was Balmachie Rita K085, a March 2010-born Balmachie Keystone G041 daughter out of a Rawburn Transformer daughter. She sold for 4500gns having been AI’d to Netherton Mr Brazilian and carries a SRI of +65. She sold to Hugh Hodge, Stanley, Perth. 

Meanwhile, the best from the draft from the Haughton herd of Whittaker Farms has seen a top price of 4000gns on two occasions, the first being Haughton Evenlora N089 (lot 318). Born April 2013, she’s by Blelack Blacked J160 and is out of the Wedderlie Prize Fighter H606 daughter Flodden Evenlora K536. Buyer here was F McDaid, Bedfordshire. The other at that money was Haughton Delia P114 (lot 321), a May 2014-born Rawburn Doible Oseven J985 daughter, AI’d to Hallington Evo, which found a new home with Hannah Heerema, Kingussie, Inverness.

Then selling for 3600gns was Haughton Lady Luck N094, a May 2913-born Rawburn Double Oseven J985 daughter. This one sold in a three way partnership to Messrs Cormack, Heath and McKendrick.
