The Echt Show took place over the weekend, with a competitive show of Aberdeen-Angus cattle on display at Echt Showground in Inverurie.

On the day, it was the 6 year old cow Mosston Muir Ingrid of Graham Willox, Meikle Pitinnan, Oldmeldrum who was selected as the judge’s champion. The cow who was bought for 11,500gns in October 2015 was also champion at New Deer and Keith last year, along with champion of champions at the Scottish Beef Supreme Cattle Championship last year.

The day’s reserve was 3 year old cow Tonley Fiona of Mark Wattie, Mains of Tonley, Alford. The cow was also second at the Beef Expo in Carlisle.
