This weekend sees the open day for the Tilson family’s Wedderlie herd which is celebrating it’s 100th year anniversary.

Included in the timetable on Saturday will be the charity auction which takes place at 4pm where one lucky bidder will get the chance to take home their choice of one from a pair of heifers on display. These heifers are:

Wedderlie Namely N915, a September 2013-born Nightingale El Paso J489 daughter out of an Aynho Rossiter Eric B125 daughter, a combination that has proved successful for Wedderlie time and time again.

Wedderlie Blackbirdy N882, an August 2013-born heifer, again by Paso and out of a Rossieter Eric daughter.

Also being offered in the auction is a round of golf at the Roxburghe Golf Course, courtesy of the Floors Farming Company, paintings and joints of beef.All proceeds will go to the RSABI and Macmillan Nurses.
