The Lady Ruth family from Richard and Carol Rettie continued its winning streak this time to take the championship honours at the North of England Club Calf Show held at Thirsk Auction Mart at the weekend.
Their championship winner, who came through as heifer calf champion under judge Emma Hodge of the Rulesmains herd, was Retties Lady Ruth S351. This March-born calf is by Billinge Magic Jack Eric M176 and is out of the Rawburn Elysium F547 daughter, Retties Lady Ruth N259.
