Next best was a call of 5200gns from Stephanie Dick to secure Rawburn Ellen Erica M480, a March 2012-born Oakchurch Field Marshall K143 daughter. She’s out of the Rawburn Randolph F555 daughter Ellen Erica J926 who is maternal sister to the 30,000gns Rawburn Emblem. She has a milk figure of +17, a TSI of +46 and s due to calve in March to Skaill Eddie L434.

Two females then shared a price tag of 5000gns, the first being Rawburn Ebony M542, an April 2012-born heifer. By the Lord Ross son, Rawburn Evolution G691 who is full brother to Rawburn Elysium, she’s out of the Rawburn Lord Hyster C254 daughter Rawburn Ebony H870. She’s also due to calve to Skaill Eddie L434 and found a new home with A and A Provan, Lanark. Joining her at the same money was Elliot Ellen Erica M518, another April 2012-born heifer and again by Evolution. She’s out of the Rawburn Randolph F555 daughter Elliot Ellen Erica H885, herself a daughter of Muirhall Ellen Erica E015. She has a SRI of +50 and is due to calve in February to Skaill Eddie L434. 

Following on from this, the best of the Newbank offering was a call of 1750gns for Newbank Proud Isla K118, a June 2010-born Ardrossan Admiral A2 daughter out of a Glenmoy James Eric A093 daughter. Securing this one was the White family of Midlock. Meanwhile, the best from the draft from the Moffat herd was Moffat Miss Bessie M033, a February 2012-born Crake Gaffer Gamble H117 daughter out of a Easton Greys Elliot A007 daughter, who sold for 2200gns to Ewen Campbell, Fort William.
