The South of England Primestock Show, held at the South of England Showgrounds, Ardently, this month also played host host to pedigree native classes for 2015-born calves, which saw the Warrenho herd of Alan and Rob Bishop winning all four classes.

The winner in the Jan-Feb heifer class was Warrenho Lady Heather R556, by former herd sire Warrenho Dalmigavie G237. In the younger class the winner was Warrenho Erica R558, this time by Netherton Mr Brazilian. Meanwhile, the Jan-Feb bull class was won by Warrenho Kind Prince R552, a son of Rawburn DoubleOseven and the younger class by another Dalmigavie son, this time Warrenho Edwin R559.

Warrenho Erica R558 went onto win the native championship emulating her full sister’s success the previous year, before clinching the interbreed ahead of the Limousin.
