Every Aberdeen-Angus sire with a Dairy Beef Index, ranked. The figure is the profit in pounds that a calf by that bull is expected to return over its lifetime, out of a dairy dam. It is a money value, not a score out of a hundred. Search for a bull by herd name or tag number.

Reading the figures
The index is pounds of profit per calf. A bull on 140 is expected to return £40 more per calf than a bull on 100. The gap between two bulls is the useful number, and it is what you are buying.
Whether a bull is used by natural service or AI is shown beneath its name, and you can filter the list to either. Ranking runs across the whole population.
Gestation length works differently from the index. It is a breeding value in days, measured against the breed's genetic base rather than in pounds, and a minus figure is the one you want — a bull at −5.0 days sires calves born five days earlier, putting the cow back in milk sooner. Ranking and banding are based on the index alone.
