The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society’s Prizegiving Evening, held at The Golden Lion Hotel on the Sunday evening of the February Stirling Bull Sales weekend, was a great success and well attended by members and breeders alike.
The evening started with a delicious 2 course meal followed by the presentation of trophies from throughout 2024 by CEO Robert Gilchrist. Congratulations to all the winners on the night, the trophies stood out in all their splendor, and were much admired by our audience. Then followed our guest comedian Jim Smith, from Perth, who delivered a great sketch and kept us highly entertained for the evening.
We would like to thank all who attended this reinstated inaugural event and made it such a success, we hope to see you all again next year.
Our thanks must also go to The Golden Lion Hotel for their incredible hospitality, our guest comedian Jim Smith, and to our World Angus Forum Youth Team of John Smyth, Ellie Westaway, James Morrison and Oisin Keogh for their presentations, we wish them all the best in Australia this May.
