Join us at Bowhill Farming for an insightful tour led by the Sion Willams (Farm Manager), including demonstrations of the latest innovations in the agricultural sector.
Through various talks, demonstrations and an interactive workshop, this event explores the latest from across the sector and discusses on-farm innovation and the current barriers to adoption.
You will learn about a number of different on-farm technologies, the role of data lead decisions and the impact of innovation adoption on farm, led by various speakers including:
- Bruce McConachie, Head of Industry Development for Quality Meat Scotland (QMS)
- Jillian Kennedy, National Chair – SAYFC
- Jim Wilson, Managing Director of Soil Essentials & Douglas Stephen of Crop Services – SKAi Sprayer Demonstration
- Veena Adityan, CEO of Smartbell – Young Livestock Health Monitoring System
- Helen Hollingsworth, Smaxtec – Cow Health & Reproduction Monitoring System
- Carwyn Davies, UK Sales Manager – Ritchie’s – Cattle and Sheep Weight & Health Monitoring Systems
This will be followed by an interactive workshop, led by the UK Agri-Tech Centre’s, Bethan John, Emma Owen and Wallace Currie. You will have the opportunity to learn about ADOPT funding and identify and highlight gaps in the development and adoption of on-farm innovation, engaging in conversations around possible solutions with the UK’s leading agri-tech organisation and innovative agri-tech companies.
