Standing reserve overall having been tapped out as junior champion was Seonaid McLaren at the halter of Netherton Kelso N768 (lot 310). This one is by the 36,000gns The Moss Mr Eshton D409 and is out of the The Moss Florian B284 daughter Netherton Karama E368. This one was calf chamopion at the Summer National Show last year and was reserve yearling champion at the Winter National Show and senior champion at the Stars of the Future Calf Show. He also carries a SRI of +47 and a milk figure of +10. 

Back in the senior championship top spot went to Logie Davidthebruce N338 (lot 142), a Glenbuchat Bruce K149 son out of the Ankonian Elixir 100 daughter Logie Delia H655. Meanwhile, reserve here was Idvies Fusilier N594 (lot 148) from Alastair Fraser, this Shadwell Black Broughton K485 son is out of Idvies Flora K489, a Lockerley Legolas G850 son.

Standing reserve intermediate behind the overall champion was the second prize winner Duncanziemere Jake N070 (lot 256) from the Clark family. Sired by Nightingale Proud Jake G405 he is out of Duncanziemere Jody H291, a Young Dale Touch Down daughter who was first two year old at the National Show 2010. 

In the junior championship reserve went to Blelack Dynamite N201 (lot 279) from Neil and Graeme Massie. Born June 2013 he is by Netherallan Peter Pershore N052 and out of Ballyheather Dolly Z682, a Royal Added Value daughter. He has a milk figure of +21 with a TSI of +42 and SRI of +53.
