The search is over and the results are revealed for our national competition for the best beef recipe as judged by critically acclaimed Chef, Tom Lewis.
And the winner is….beef brisket with broadbeans as entered by Helen from Bury.
This was closely followed by a Thai beef salad with a mouth-watering oxtail stew sailing in to third place.
Chef Tom Lewis, said; ‘This recipe was selected due to the incredible depth of flavour achieved through the overnight marinade and low and slow cooking. When we tried it out it really was delicious. There was such a high number of great recipes it was hard to make the call but I’m confident we choose the right winner’.
