Members who have received their annual Review will be aware by now that we’re moving the publication to a quarterly magazine.
This magazine, which is aimed at being an 80-100 page merger of the Newsletter, The Angus and The Review, will offer timely and topical news, views, features, show and sale reports and all the latest from various Society projects. It will also offer a wider advertising platform for you as a breeder to market stock for sale in line with seasonal trends and official Society sales with issues published in March, June, September and December.
We are by no means expecting you to advertise in all four editions in the year, although some of you naturally will see the benefit of doing that and will receive reductions for doing so. There are various size options available, as well as two options of classified positions.
Each edition will focus on two of our regional Clubs with the March edition being the Borders Club and West Mercia, meaning each club will be featured every two years. In those focus sections a pedigree and commercial feature will be published relevant to that area, as well as a page on Club activities. Members in those focus Club areas will also be able to take advantage of a 25% discount on advertising rates.
The March edition is in make up stage at the moment, so if you’re looking for advertising slots now, then download the relevant form at the bottom of this story and fill in the details and return to Chrissie Long. You’ll also see on the form when your Club is being featured.
