Graeme & Adrian Parke secured both of the top positions in the final championship line-up at the annual Londonderry & Limavady Show over the weekend. The Parke Family’s yearling heifer and reigning Ulster Provincial Trophy holder, Coolermoney Frances T703 took the supreme breed championship under show judge Hamish Dunlop from Kirkcudbright in Scotland whilst herdmate Coolermoney Eventer T747 was awarded the reserve supreme championship. The champion is sired by the AI bull Hallington Edition M362 whilst the reserve champion (also born in the Spring of 2017) is sired by Cloghogmill Eric R233.
The next major show on the Northern Irish summer circuit is Clogher Valley Show which takes place on Wednesday, July 25th. Members of the Irish Aberdeen-Angus Association will be present on the day and we look forward to meeting as many of the membership as possible at the show.
