Cheeklaw-bred bull wins for Matchett family at Lurgan Show

Clinching the top honours at Lurgan Show under judge Sean McKiernan, Co Cavan, were the Matchett family of Nigel, Gail, Sarah and Sam with the Cardona Proud Punch L752 son, Cheeklaw Emlyn P480. This one is out of Cheeklaw Emily K381, a Bunlahy Bilty G202 son and was purchased privately from David Lucas and family. He was shown on his first outing for the Matchett family. 

Lurgan champ LOW RES

The reserve came from the same home in the form of Birches Lady Heather M026, a home bred daughter of the herd’s stock sire and Irish import Carrigroe Fred. She’s out of the former show cow Mogeely Lady Hilda H967, an Iona Bounder D048 daughter.
