Clinching all the top silverware at Drymen Show having coming through as breed champion under judge Natalie Cormack was Donald Rankin’s two year old heifer Hillfoots Tidy Bee P288. Bred by Jamie Rettie, this one is by Retties JFK and is due to calve in September to Gretnahouse Blacksmith L500. She was reserve breed champion at Black Isle last year and now heads to the Royal Highland and Great Yorkshire Shows.
She also went on to take the interbreed and champion of champions title at the show.
Standing reserve was current senior YDP winner Steph Dick with her September 2014-born Weeton Evora P439. By Rawburn Black Hawk L261, she’s out of the Blelack Equity J127 daughter, Blelack Evora L770 and was purchased at the Weeton dispersal sale. She next heads tot he Highland Show.
