Warrenho lift the Warren Trophy
Having told you last week about the Bishops’ success in the 2017 Warren Trophy as the herd receiving the greatest tally of points across all shows with Aberdeen-Angus classes throughout England and Wales, we got the chance to speak to Rob Bishop to learn more about their show season and reaction to winning. Rob said: ‘’It was great to meet many friends old and new during the course of the show season. A lot of people doubt the commercial merits of showing, but having sold three bulls for pedigree breeding during the course of the 2017 showing season, the Warrenho herd see it as their shop window and a great opportunity to combine business with pleasure. It’s a great honour to win the Warren Trophy and we are lucky enough to have won it previously in three consecutive years from 2009-2011’’. Meet the Team
We’re always looking to bring you interview-type pieces on the full team of staff here at Aberdeen-Angus, and this week we brought the latest one with Fiona Flood who works in the registrations department at Pedigree House in Perth. Fiona has worked with the Society for around six years now, having previously worked with husband Louis on their family business, Louis Flood Photographers, who’ve worked a lot with the Society in the past.
