Yesterday’s Aberdeen-Angus calf show at East of England Smithfield Festival saw Robert Clarke and his team from Shadwell Estate Co stand at the top of the line under judge Alex McLaren of the Aynho herd with Shadwell Blue Belle R822. 

Born September last year, this heifer is by Nightingale El Paso J489 and is out of a home bred Muirhall Total Deal E009 daughter. 

Taking the reserve spot was the Denning family with Temple Just Epic S673, the March-born bull calf by Retties JFK M195, which has been shown at foot all summer under the successful show cow Haughton Justine Erica L012.
