Aberdeen-Angus has achieved over 75% clearance thus far, at the Stirling Bull sales today.

Champion Bull, Blelack Lord Hardie (Sire Warrenho Emperor, Dam: Blelack Lady Heather) was sold for 6,200 Guineas by Neil Massie & Son to Scottish Government.

Reserve Champion Eastfield Jester (Sire: Halbeath Kansas, Dam: Eastfield Janice), also achieved a price of 6,200 Guineas, sold by Isla Maree Shaw to Wauchope.

Top price of 6,800 Guineas was fetched by Linton Gilbertines Lazer (Sire: Rawburn Blackhawk, Dam: Linton Gilbertines Lady Roma), sold by Trustees of the late Gordon R Brooke to Lindsay & Co.

Overall the average price reached 4,097 Guineas, with 25% of Aberdeen Angus bulls fetching over 5,000 Guineas.
