Rob Bishop and family had a successful trip to Ardingly, Sussex for the South of England Show last week where they took the champion and reserve champion positions under judge Alastair Clark of the Duncanziemere herd, Ayrshire.
Standing top of the Angus classes was Warrenho Erica M418 and Warrenho Erica S626. By the home bred Warrenho Dalmigavie G237, she’s out of Erica H267, a Lockerely Legend F612, while the heifer calf at foot was born in March and is by Hallington Edition M362. This outfit was shown fresh from their reserve champion win at Surrey County and at South of England went on to stand reserve interbreed female champion.
In reserve was the March-born yearling bull Warrenho Edwin R559. Again by Dalmigavie, this one is out of a home bred Blelack Blacksmith Y291 daughter.
Furthering the family’s interbreed success this winning due teamed up with two heifers from Mike and Jenny Spooner’s Kingwood herd to stand reserve interbreed group.
