On behalf of all at the Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society our hearts go out to all who are so personally affected by the COVID-19 virus. The last couple of months have been filled with uncertainty, concern and anxiety for many. It is important that staff members have the safety and security of their families, loved ones and community as their priority. The Council are very supportive of that and changing of normal practices to keep everyone safe has been a consequence.
As well as all staff working from home, we have cancelled all in-person meetings and visitors to Pedigree House which is closed. As the situation continues to evolve and new measures are recommended, our best practices will also evolve. We will continue to do everything we can to look after our people, prevent the spread of the virus, and ensure the continued member services are maintained to the highest quality possible for our Members and stakeholders.
We are asking all Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society members for their continued patience and support as this situation continues to unfold. It is difficult to predict what will happen in the next couple of days, let alone the upcoming weeks or even months but we are monitoring the conditions very closely and will be adapting working practices to suit the prevailing circumstances.
To keep everyone informed, we will maintain regular communications that share the latest news and updates from the Society relating to COVID-19.
Please continue to follow the governmental guidance:
