COVID-19 UPDATE – OFFICE CLOSURE

COVID-19 UPDATE – OFFICE CLOSURE

23.03.2020

20th March 2020

Dear Member

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to gain pace we have had to take into account the Government guidelines on ways of working to join in on the effort to minimise the spread of the disease in order to flatten the peak and enable the emergency services to cope with the anticipated high demand.

The first priority is, as responsible employers, protect the health and welfare of our staff and our members whilst continuing to provide a service to our partners and stakeholders.

In conjunction with the latest advice taken from the Government, Health and Safety Executive and the National Health Service it has been decided that the office should close, and our staff be enabled to work from home.
We have put in place the infrastructure to enable that, in order that we can continue to offer as near to a normal service as we possibly can and it is testament to the team and their commitment to the Society that in these unprecedented time we can adapt to suit without question in support of the business interests.

If you have any queries or concerns, please get in touch with your usual Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society or Pedigree Cattle Services contact preferably by Email in the first instance as below:

laura@aberdeen-angus.co.uk

fiona@aberdeen-angus.co.uk

caroline@aberdeen-angus.co.uk

yvonne@aberdeen-angus.co.uk

barbara@breedplan.co.uk

helena@breedplan.co.uk

amy@breedplan.co.uk

Please make the phone calls a last resort, call the office, select the person that you require to speak to, and your call will be transferred.

The companies that provide us with services whether at home or overseas are also being affected by this crisis and therefore their normal service levels may be compromised during this time. We may see some delays in the information exchange that we require to deliver a normal service but please bear with us and normal service will return as soon as is permissible and the risk to health and wellbeing of all is reduced.

There are challenging times ahead for everyone and situations may arise from the current situation that will affect families and businesses. Please all be assured that during this period that the Society will be supporting the membership throughout, revisiting the ways that we work to create ways of keeping your businesses functioning.
Please keep visiting the web site and Facebook pages for updates and we will be regularly communicating any changes that we need to make going forward.
