The Aberdeen-Angus Cattle Society is pleased to announce the appointment of Seonaid McLaren as Junior Vice President following a Council vote at Thursday’s Council meeting.
Seonaid succeeds Wanda Tilson, who has stepped down from the role. She currently serves as chair of the Society’s marketing committee and brings extensive experience through her longstanding involvement with the Youth Development Programme (YDP), alongside a strong international perspective gained from her work across the global Aberdeen-Angus community.
Society CEO Robert Gilchrist said: “I am delighted to welcome Seonaid as the Society’s new Junior Vice President. Her enthusiasm for the breed, commitment to the Society, and experience through the YDP and internationally make her an excellent fit for the role.
“We would also like to thank Wanda for her valuable contribution during her time as Junior Vice President and wish her every success for the future.”
