The dispersal of the autumn calving portion of the Ettrick Herd took place at United Auctions, Stirling, on Monday 4^th May.

The top of 6,000gns was reached three times. Ettrick Jack Rabbit B382, a July 2025-born bull calf by Rawburn Loaded U670 out of Ettrick Julia Z329, sold to Grahamslaw Farming Partnership, Grahamslaw Farm, Kelso. Also at this price was the cow and calf outfit Ettrick Ebony Z331 and heifer calf Ettrick Ebony B386, by Rawburn Loaded U670, selling to JH & WW More, Stirling. Finally, Ettrick Lucy A349, an in-calf heifer by Linton Gilbertines President S021 out of Ettrick Lucy R162, also reached the 6,000gns mark, also to Grahamslaw Farming Partnership.

Grahamslaw were active again at 5,500gns for Gretnahouse Ellen Erica X361, by Blelack Prince V963 out of Gretnahouse Ellen Erica V123, and at 5,000gns for cow and calf outfit Ettrick Rachel X230, by Linton Gilbertines President S021 with her heifer calf Ettrick Rockstar B389, by Weeton Diamond Mine P444. They also secured Ettrick Bella Z344, an in-calf heifer by Linton Gilbertines President S021, at 4,000gns, and the heifer calf Ettrick Ellen Erica B385, by Rawburn Loaded U670, at 4,000gns. Ettrick Julia Z329, dam of the top-priced bull calf, also sold to the same home at 4,500gns.

The Simpsons from Castle Farm, Perth, purchased Ettrick Julia A348, an in-calf heifer by Linton Gilbertines President S021 out of Tonley Julia, for 4,800gns, along with Ettrick Gaenor Z335 at 3,500gns and Ettrick Rachel Y322 at 3,200gns.

JDM Thomson, Lockerbie, Dumfriesshire, bought the cow and calf outfit Ettrick Lucy Y299, by Linton Gilbertines President S021 out of Ettrick Lucy R162, with her bull calf Ettrick Leroy B390, for 4,500gns, and Ettrick Bella U209, by Logan Bar Davieboy P927 out of Ettrick Bella K085, with her heifer calf Ettrick Boxer B392, by Linton Gilbertines President S021, for 4,200gns.

The sole bull on offer, Ettrick Ringleader A352, by Drumhill Minor Pro X306 out of Ettrick Rachel V231, carrying a TSI of +52 and SRI of +69, sold for 4,500gns to JB Hendry, Stow, Galashiels.

Ettrick Bella S178, by Ettrick Rockafella M109 out of Ettrick Bella N122, and Ettrick Bella U213, by Logan Bar Davieboy P927 out of Ettrick Bella P144, both sold for 3,000gns to E. Scott, Glamis, Forfar. The bull calf Ettrick Gordy B383, by Rawburn Loaded U670 out of Ettrick Gaenor Z335, made 3,500gns to W. Owen, Stirling.
