Louis & Chrissie Byrne, owners of the Tomriland Aberdeen-Angus herd, are holding a reduction sale comprising of purebred registered Aberdeen-Angus cows with calves at foot (and in-calf again), in-calf heifers, a selection of top quality 18 month old bulls and current herd stock bull.
The Tomriland Aberdeen-Angus herd operates a strict high health status with the herd also taking part in the ICBF Whole Herds Performance Recording (WHPR) programme. Recent show successes have seen the Tomriland Aberdeen-Angus herd win the 2017 Leinster Provincial Trophy and the 2018 Connaught/Leinster junior heifer calf prize over consecutive show seasons, with Louis also receiving the Irish Aberdeen-Angus Assocation’s President’s Medal last December in recognition for his services to the Aberdeen-Angus breed over several decades.
The Tomriland Aberdeen-Angus reduction sale will take place at Carnew Mart, Carnew, Co Wicklow (Eircode: Y14 NN72) on Saturday, October 5th at 2pm and promises to be a fantastic opportunity to acquire top class genetics from an established and successful herd.
