The premier pedigree spring show & sale took place on Saturday the 22^{nd of} March at Melton Mowbray Market in Leicestershire.  The smaller show & sale saw Glympton Farm’s Glympton Bobby Z536 take Breed Champion and Reserve Interbreed Champion. This April 2023 born bull sired by Glympton Dubh Evander V309 and out of Glympton Bessama R033 had a Terminal Sire Index (TSI) of +40 and sold to 5000gns to Little Oxendon Farms in Harborough, Leicestershire. This price was also reached by a second Glympton Farm entry, Glympton Rico Z540, a paternal half-brother to Bobby, and out of Glympton Rowena W330. Rico who has a TSI of +46 and Self Replacing Index of +62 sold to Pawdy Rise Farm in Barrow-On-Soar in Leicestershire. The third bull to sell at the sale was Tree Bridge Ellem Z030 sired by Tree Bridge Paterson U737 and out of Tree Bridge Emily V782 who sold to David Alder of College Farm in Oxfordshire.
