As part of the broader Society modernisation programme the byelaws have been redrafted and updated.

Council adopted the new byelaws at the Council meeting held on the 25th of September 2026. They will  take effect from the 11th of November and have been published here to allow members to familiarise themselves with them prior to that date.

For most members how you interact with the Society has not changed. What has changed however, is that the byelaws are now clearer, in one place, and updated to ensure legal compliance.
